Guidelines

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here. I encourage thoughtful, edifying conversation rooted in biblical truth, and I genuinely love when iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). These guidelines exist not to discourage engagement but to protect the integrity of this space and give me something to stand on when a conversation stops being fruitful.

Respectful disagreement. You don’t have to agree with me, but thoughtful dialogue that seeks truth and edifies is always welcome. (Ephesians 4:29)

Scripture-based discussion. Let’s reason together from the text, in context, not from personal opinion or cultural trends. The Bereans are still the model. (Acts 17:11)

Honest, clear communication. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Speak with integrity and grace. (Colossians 4:6)

Personal attacks, insults, or profanity. There is no room for name-calling or character assassination here. We speak the truth in love, full stop. (Ephesians 4:15)

Anonymous comments. If you won’t put your name on it, it won’t be approved.

Bad-faith arguments. If the goal is to stir up controversy rather than seek truth, the conversation ends. (2 Timothy 2:23-24)

Unproductive contention. Secondary issues matter, but not every hill is worth dying on. When a discussion veers from persuasion into contention, I’ll step away. (Titus 3:9)

I prioritize biblical truth over personal preference, which means if a disagreement is rooted in opinion rather than clear scriptural teaching, I’m not going to go in circles over it. I also reserve the right to moderate comments and decline conversations that have run their course. That’s not a personal judgment on you; it’s stewardship of this space.

My goal is robust, respectful discussion that points to Christ, sharpens understanding, and upholds truth. If that’s what you’re here for, welcome to the conversation.
